Legislative Assembly

The Premier hasn’t made any announcement about that, but I understand that, clear of paying them for taking it, they almost gave it to them.

Honourable Alexander B. Campbell: Mr. Speaker, I am sorry the honourable member wasn’t in the House to hear the announcement.

Leo F. Rossiter: However, I trust that we will get the details of the firm] ar- rangements before this House closes.

“Engaging the services of a business consultant to the Prince Edward Island Industrial Corporation.” Now who might this man be? Is he on staff?

Some Member: Co-ordinator ?

Leo F. Rossiter: Who is he?

Honourable Alexander B. Campbell: Bartlett. Walter R. Shaw: Mr. who ?

Honourable Alexander B. Campbell: Bartlett. Leo F. Rossiter: Is he still working?

Honourable Alexander 8. Campbell: Well, he is getting kind of disgusted with the racket created by the Opposition, Mr. Speaker, complaining about no civil servants and so on.

Leo F. Rossiter: Complaining about what?

Walter R. Shaw: Mr. Speaker if the Leader of the Government would speak out clearly, we could hear him.

Leo I“. Rossiter: I understood that this fellow was so disgusted with the car-

rlying’s on of the Government that, in all probability, he might resign. We will see. He's t e man . . .

Mr. Flood and his associates certainly have a hard road ahead of them. I doubt very much if they will accomplish anything for a number of years until the economic climate created by this Government has. been repaired, and this you can’t do overnight. I understand Mr. Flood and his as- sociates, his assistant, are good men and have quite a bit of knowledge in this field and I trust would be competent if they hadn’t this stone laced around their neck by this Government such that they could have swam and per ps come ashore with some in-

dustries on their 'back. However, it came to light this morning that there is one Jasper Craig hired by the Industrial Enterprises. . . .

Some Member: Jasamine.

_ Leo F. Rossiter: Hired by the Industrial Enterprises to represent this prov- ince at Expo. Now, Mr. Premier, this man may be, I don’t know him at all, maybe a
