M. Alban Farmer: Mr. Speaker, I just want to get that clarified on the ADB arrangement. The former arrangement was that Albany Corner to Miscouche was a 75/25; originally it was, wasn’t it?
Hon. George J. Ferguson: No, 50/50.
M. Alban Farmer: That was only 50/50, then; on the other trunk road from Tignish to Souris was 75/25?
Honourable George J. Ferguson: No 50/50.
M. Alban Farmer: Fifty-fifty also. Those were all 50/50? You got that all up to seventy-five?
Hon. George J. Ferguson: This was renegotiated.
M. Alban Farmer: You [got it all up to seventy-five, and did you get bridges outside of that road too?
Hon. George J. Ferguson: Yes.
M. Alban Farmer: All the bridges that might be on a road not connected, is that seventy—five now?
Hon. George J. Ferguson: They are specific bridges which we have . . . . M. Alban Farmer: Oh yes, I realize that they are not . . . .
Hon. George J. Ferguson: Provincial Paving — Mr. Speaker, a total of 49.85 miles of new paving was laid throughout the province, plus 8.8 miles of ADB roads which the standard is equal to the provincial paving. (Applause)

The total new roads paved in the Province was 587 miles and all-weather
