Hon. Alex. B. Campbell: No, we don’t brag. Walter R. Shaw: You have nothing to brag about.

Hon. J. Elmer Blanchard: You won’t listen.

L. George Dewar: In the budget of 1966-1967 there was an item for vocational schools in Kings County and West Prince. Last year an item. . ..

Hon. Alex. B. Campbell: They were just announced... L. George Dewar: And West Prince, as usual, was forgotten about.

Hon. Alex. B. Campbell: Just announced ten minutes ago. Carry on.

L. George Dewar: An item was put in for $800,000, perhaps it was $500,000, I think

it “Easdreduced to $500,000, last year for a vocational school in Kings County and we in

Hon. Alex. B. Campbell: Just a minute, just a minute. . ..

L. George Dewar:. . . .that the Government’s budget does not estimate for this $800,000 and that’s one item that.. ..

Unknown Voice: You carried that for five years.

L. George Dewar: ....makes the point of my statement to the Minister of Education because he could have spent $800,000, or $500,000, in Prince County on a vocational school. Instead of that he spent only $12,000, all of $12,000, instead of living up to his commitment fully. . . .

Walter R. Shaw: He bought a tuna.

Unknown Voice: Golf course.

L. George Dewar: Now, we find the estimate is in again this year. What is it this year? I get mixed up there’s so many different figures. I believe it’s $550,000.

Walter R. Shaw: They put it up $50,000.

L. George Dewar: Booked for the school in Kings County. No word about West Prince as usual.

Hon. Alex. B. Campbell: Just announced, just announced. L. George Dewar: Well, why isn’t it in the budget? Hon. M. Lorne Bonnell: Oh, we don’t want to tell you everything yet.

L. George Dewar: I don’t even believe what you do tell me and what you don’t tell me I certainly wouldn’t even think of believing. (Laughter)

Hon. J. Elmer Blanchard: What’s the good of talking then?

Walter R. Shaw: Oh, boy, oh, boy. What a guilty looking crowd.

Unknown Voice: We might as well keep quiet then. Do you expect us to believe you? Hon. M. Lorne Bonnell: You’re doing a good job. Keep it up.

Walter R. Shaw: Oh, dear, dear, how’s the hay crop?

L. George Dewar: We were promised golf courses in Kings County and in Prince County. We were promised a national park.

Hon. M. Lorne Bonnell: Give us a few more minutes, we will do that too.

L. George Dewar: And once again we have been looking forward with expectation to this new park or golf course in West Prince and we’re very disappomted, Mr. Speaker, to find that the land isn’t even purchased as yet.

Hon. M. Lorne Bonnell: It’s negotiated.
