The Queen very kindly said in her letter ofthanks that the service marked and set the tenor and tone of her visit to the Island for the Centenary of the Island's entry into Confederation. I have a very beautiful portrait ofthe Queen and Prince Philip given to me by the Queen, and a letter ofthanks for preaching the sermon. and for the service. I think she also sent one to Bishop Spence. It was such a privilege to share the service with Bishop Spence. It is marvellous what we can do as Christians without any compromise of principles. or anything else. As Christian people we can share in our Lord and in His worship. Bishop Spence gave great leadership in this regard.
