President - substitute secretary (for evening) Gertrude Partridge Community Association Minutes Wednesday, September 25th, 1974 Meeting of Committee to discuss L.I.P . application, at Partridges with Lem Moore in the chair. Present were: Andrew and Barbara Campbell, Oscar and Con Campbell, Clarence and Larry Campbell, George Creed , John Willie Jamieson , Glen and Gertrude Partridge. It was decided that Lem, Glen and John Willie should go to Montague to the L.I.P . representative on Thursday. It was decided to get estimates from two carpenters. Committees work then to be submitted to the executive. Meeting adjourned Secretary of the evening, Gertrude Partridge Community Association Minutes October 6,1974 Special meeting - Sunday evening at school Present: Olive and Andrew Campbell, Aloysius MacDonald , John Willie Jamieson , Clarence Campbell , Theresa and George Creed, Glen and Gertrude Partridge, Lem Moore , Barbara Campbell , Susan Campbell , Pauline Campbell . Chairman Theresa Creed called the meeting to order. The secretary of the L.I.P. Application Committee, Glen, reported the following recommendations of the committee: 1. That there be work for 12 people for the 22 weeks from December 1st to May 1st. Wages would come to $26,000 and expenses for lumber, etc. $7,000. Estimates had been asked for from Neil Lanigan and Junior Collins . 2. Deductions from wages of 9% for unemployment insurance and vacation pay would be $2,356.
