Gertrude offered to buy the gift and a card on Monday. Clarence moved, and John Willie seconded that meeting adjourn.

Present: Theresa and George Creed, Lem Moore, Clarence Campbell, Olive and Andrew Campbell, Neil Campbell, Jerry and Larry Campbell, Anthony Creed, Reg Campbell, Glen and Gertrude Partridge, Oscar Campbell.
Minutes were read and approved.
Glen reported receiving a letter from Gilbert Clements supporting the LLB project. Andrew said Mr. Lavers had phoned him and sent a letter to Dan MacDonald supporting the project.
Glen told of meeting with Mr. MacLean, Director of the Department of Vital Statistics, whose department will do the work inside the cemetery, once we cut the road to it, and build a sea wall.
Dredging was done at the wharf, but not very deep. A letter from George Henderson said that in the spring, power would be put at the wharf, and repair work done to the wharf.
Dump — Clarence reported that it is a mess. Gertrude moved, Lem seconded a motion that a representative of the Rural Development Council be invited to our next meeting to explain how a Community Improvement Committee with legal power for garbage control, be set
up; carried.
Oscar and Lem offered to put George’s oil stove in the school, so card parties could take place.
A discussion about graduates of the school took place, and about getting a list of their names and addresses.
Glen moved that Adele MacDonald be asked to find as many names as possible of the school’s graduates; carried.
Andrew and Olive offered to have the next meeting, on November 27th.
