The Maritime Synod met in Charlottetown with Rev. W. Bruce Muir of St. James as Moderator.

The Church has had a membership increase in the last few years since Union, like never before in her history.

I929 Murdoch McLeod in his Building Committee report stated that he was prepared to be one of thirty to pay $100.00 each to wipe out the mortgage on the building. (He was not taken up on this as the mortgage was not paid off until I935.)

Three Sabbaths were united where services were held in St. James' Church in the morning and in Zion in the evening.

Collections increased over $50.00 during the year and the entire budget for I930 was estimated as $6,775.

I930 On the 14th day of September, Rev. M. Scott Fulton, having accepted a call to a larger field in Chatham, Ontario, preached his farewell sermon. During his pastorate. l20 had united to the church by profession of faith and 6| by certificate and the session was increased from five to twelve members.

While we approached close to the amount asked for by the Budget Committee of our Church, nevertheless the fact remains that the amount paid in was given by less than one—third of our envelope contributors. This is a time of great opportunity for our church to win souls to Christ. We need not money alone. The Session deplores the tendency to pursue worldly pleasures by those who are communicants of the Church and with
