kindly solicitude would remind them of their obligations to the Christ who died to redeem them. Following the call of Rev. Dr. Fulton to Chatham , Ontario the pulpit was occupied by: Messrs. Allen and Mclver, students from Pictou Academy for September and October and following that by a succession of ministers until the end of the year. 1931 Rev. R. Moorhead Legate , of St. James was appointed interim Moderator. Among those supplying during the summer was Dr. M. Scott Fulton. Rev. G. Carlyle Webster was inducted on August 21, the Church having been without a permanent pastor for 11 months. On September 21, permission was given to purchase the J. A. Robertson property at for a manse for the sum of $7,750.00. This was financed with a mortgage at 5% for five years. A Manse Account has been opened with $42.00 per month used to pay interest, insurance and repairs. Number of Communicants was 403. 1932 72 were added to the church by membership. We record with deep regret the passing of our former esteemed pastor, Rev , George C. Taylor in Hamilton Bermuda. 1933 74 were added to membership bringing the total to 522. "We feel humiliated, that Mr. Webster should be compelled, in a court of law, to defend his character from a charge of fraud, as preferred against him by such a Body as the Board of Trustees of the Prince Edward Island Hospital who from their sheltered position, made their foul attack purely on suspicion, and regardless of the injury to Mr. Webster and his family." (Note: The late Miss Charlotte Dower left monies to Rev. Webster , without his knowledge in her will, while the Hospital felt he used undue influence) 1934 61 were added: 14 by certificate, 47 by profession, with 16 removed: 6 by death and 10 by certificate leaving the increase at 45 with a membership of 567. It is a matter of gratification that the regular diets of worship has been well sustained and it is encouraging to note the interest and attendance of young people at these services. The Session is of the opinion, however, that there are some whose names are on the Communion roll of the church whose attendance at public worship is not all that it should be, and earnestly desire the regular and devoted attendance of all members of the congregation. One of the sons of the congregation, Rev. J. White , B.A . has completed his work for the Holy Ministry and is happily settled with congregation, P.E.I. • 41
