Minister. He was to assist in the pulpit and pastoral oversight of the congregation, as well as youth work.

David and his wife Liza, devoted much oftheir time to the youth of Zion and achieved great success in a growing youth involvement at Zion.

David resigned from lion in June I986, to return to full time studies and was ordained as a minister of the Presbyterian Church, at a service in Zion on July 5, I988. He first ministered in the Marine Drive Kirk's Pastoral Charge, Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia. He went next to King's Presbyterian Church, New Minas, N.S., resigning in 1995.

DOUWSMA, Frederick (B.A., M.Div.) Assistant Minister June I, I986 - Dec I5, 1987

Fred is a native of Burlington, Ontario, he received his BA. from Waterloo University and Master of Divinity at Knox College. Prior to coming to Charlottetown, he was in Regina Saskatchewan.

He was Assistant Minister in Zion from June I, I986, to Dec l5, I987. He was called to First Presbyterian Church, Pictou, NS. and later Knox Presbyterian, Selkirk, Manitoba.

COUSINS, Stephen Youth Director I986 - l99l

A native of Malpeque, moving to Crapaud at age IO. He graduated from Bluefield High School, and attended Nova Scotia Agricultural College (NSAC), Truro from I98 I-84. He attended Ontario Bible College and worked at West Hill Presbyterian Church, West Hill, Ontario. Returning to P.E.I. he did experimental work with a Marine Lobster Farm. While Youth Minister at Zion he attended U.P.E.I. part time.

In I987 Stephen married Cindy Ross of Cross Roads, P.E.I. and they have four daughters. Both he and Cindy were ardent workers with the youth at Zion.

In the Summer of I99], they moved to New Hampshire to work at "His Mansion". In I992 they retumed to RBI. to establish and direct "His Mansion, Maritimes", located in Pisquid. "His Mansion" is a Christ- centered ministry providing help to young people aged I8 to 30 who want to overcome addiction and emotional or behavioral problems.

Issa Saliba was bom and raised in a Christian home in the old sector of Jerusalem. At the age of thirteen he came under the influence of American missionaries working in the city. Through Sunday School he accepted Christ as his personal Saviour and felt the call of God in his life. Upon graduating from St. George's Secondary School, he attended college in the mid-westem US, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree. He earned a Master's in History at Eastern Nazarene College, Quincy, Mass.
