His Master's Thesis was written at Harvard, published in I975, and was the first full account in English of the Protestant effort in the l9th Century to translate and print the Bible in the Arabic language.
In 1973, Mr. Saliba migrated to Canada to attend McMaster Divinity College in Hamilton, Ont. in preparation for entering the service ofthe church as an ordained minister. While at McMaster. he was Director of the Men's Work at Mission Services of Hamilton, an inner-city inter- denominational mission to those affected by poverty, and drug and alcohol abuse. When he graduated from McMaster with a Master's of Divinity degree, he accepted a position of Director of Lay Ministry at Cheyne Presbyterian Church in Stoney Creek, Ontario, a position he held for six and one-halfyears. He was commended to the General Assembly by the Session of Cheyne Church as a candidate for the Presbyterian Church Ministry. He completed the required courses at Knox College and was ordained in 1986 by the Presbytery of Hamilton.
Shortly after ordination, he submitted a thesis to Knox College on the Syriac Apocalyptic Work of the Seventh Century, for which he was awarded the degree of Master of Theology.
Rev. lssa Saliba was called to Zion Presbyterian Church, April 12, 1988, as Minister of Pastoral Care. He was a compassionate and conscientious man who loved to visit the sick and elderly and sought to encourage others to do the same. He was remembered as an able teacher ofthe Word OfGod, a good visitor, an enabler ofthe laity to do the work of ministry and a minister who loved Jesus Christ. lssa left Zion December 3 l, 1990, and current is minister in Maple, Ontario.

Wayne was born in Georgetown, P.E.l. ln I977 he married Elizabeth MacDonald, a member of Zion Church, and they were married at the church. On February l7, I979, Wayne was ordained as an elder in Zion Church.
Wayne attended Presbyterian College, Montreal, serving as student minister at Zion in the Summer of 1986. He graduated from Presbyterian College Montreal in May l988. He was ordained into the ministry ofthe Presbyterian Church in Canada at Zion on July 5, I988. While a student, Wayne preached at St. Andrews Presbyterian, Melbourne, Quebec. He first served as Minister at Knox Presbyterian Church, Campbellton, N.B. from 1988 to 1991. He was called to Zion as Associate Minister. and served from June 27, 1991, until he resigned December 3 l, 1994.
On June 17, 1997, Wayne was inducted as minister in the Clyde River Charge, Prince Edward Island. Wayne and Elizabeth and their children, David and Rebecca reside at the Clyde River Manse.
