himself in pastoral care at the local hospitals. He was ordained to a lay missionary position within the Presbyterian Church. David began his studies in this field. In I989 his involvement as a lay missionary saw him appointed to two congregations as stated supply. As well as giving assistance to a number of congregations in the Presbytery of Essex-Kent, doing pulpit supply etc.

David left Bell Canada in April I996, to devote full time to the ministry. The first week of February I996, he answered a call to preach at Zion Church. Charlottetown. David was the unanimous choice to become Zion's new Assistant to the Minister. He is continuing his education toward ordination in the Presbyterian Church.

David and Debra live in Charlottetown and they have two sons. Jake is married and living in Miramichi New Brunswick, and Josh is living at home.
