JOYCE ( MACNEVIN ) KNIGHT Joyce was born in Charlottetown , daughter of Lloyd and Rose MacNevin. She was a member of Zion Church and was actively involved in many areas of church work, such as choir, and youth groups, spending her summers at in French River . Joyce entered Ewart College in 1973 graduating as Deaconess in May 1976. A special designation service was held at Zion on May 26, with induction by Rev. John Cameron , Rev Donald Campbell and Miss Mary MacKenzie , Deaconess. She was in the pulpit at Zion on June 13. During her time at Ewart College she did field work assignments at Knox Church in Port Alberni, B.C. and at West Point Charge, P.E.I. Her first appointment was as extension worker at Doon Presbyterian Church, Ontario , where she was installed as Congregational Deaconess by Rev. L.S. VanMossel , Moderator of Waterloo-Wellington Presbytery . When her two year appointment was completed she joined St. Andrews Presbyterian, Kitchener, Ontario where she commenced work in Christian Education under Rev. Grant MacDonald . It was while there she married Robb Knight of Brampton, Ontario , and moved to , Ontario , where she taught Sunday School. The family later mover to Munster Hamlet outside Ottawa, where they still reside. Joyce is an Elder in Trinity Presbyterian Church in Kanata. She has occasionally taken the service at Kanata and Sittsville. The Knight's have four children. MARLENE ( MACMILLAN ) BURDETT Marlene was born in Charlottetown , September 1958. She grew up living in . Herbert with her home church being Zion. Music and singing have always played a large role in her Christian live. In 1977 she participated in the Sonlight Youth Evangelism Team, which was a singing and evangelistic team of the Presbyterian Church in Canada that toured the Provinces that summer. The next year, Marlene co-directed a Christian Camp at Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia , having earlier been involved in camp leadership at , French River , Marlene graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1980. In the summer of the same year she married Kent Burdett and moved to Toronto in the Fall where she began studies at Ewart College and Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. In 1982 she received a Diploma in Christian Education from Ewart College. After graduation Kent ( B.A ., M.Div .) was ordained in Hampton-Barnesville, New Brunswick .
