ELEANOR LOUISE (TAYLOR) KREPLIN Eleanor, born in Charlottetown , is the daughter of Perley and Dorothy Taylor, both elders at Zion Church. Eleanor was active in Zion Church throughout her youth. She was involved with Presbyterian Young People 's Society in the local Church, the Island Presbytery and Synod . She graduated from Dalhousie University, Halifax, with a Bachelor of Arts degree and attended Theological Seminary, Toronto , graduating in May 1982 with her Masters of Theological Studies. She worked for a summer with the Atlantic Baptist City Ministry, Saint John, New Brunswick . In Eleanor worked with "Man to Man, Woman to Woman Prison Ministry" in 1982-1987. She married, in 1981, Rev. Dr. J. Martin R. Kreplin , Pastor of Renfrew Presbyterian Church and they have three children (Sarah, Matthew and Jonathan). Eleanor is involved with her husband in many areas of the Church Ministry. She organized and set up Youth Programs and had leadership involvement with a contemporary service in the area of music and prayer. She was a member of the Board of Directors, "His Mansion, Renfrew, Ontario ". Eleanor is currently working with Family and Children Services, St. Joseph's High School, a Social Services Program working with teens. CHERYL MACLEOD Cheryl, born in Charlottetown , is the daughter of Sterling and Kaye MacLeod. Her home congregation was Zion Church, and she was active in Prince Edward Island Presbyterian Young People 's Society ( P.Y.P.S .) She graduated from Charlottetown Rural High School in 1980 and attended Ontario Bible College, graduating in 1984 with a Bachelor of Religious Education. From 1985 to 1989 she was Director of Church Education at St. Andrew's Gait Presbyterian Church, Ontario. While at St. Andrew's she continued her education at the University of Waterloo, graduating in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Cheryl then attended Gordon -Conwell Theological Seminary from which she received her Masters of Arts in 1994. In the summer of 1990, she acted as Summer Supply at Harrington Presbyterian Church, Youth Minister Consultant at Zion Church and Education Consultant at -Wood Islands Charge . In the summer of 1994, she interned at Zion Church. Cheryl has been involved in teaching various forms of leadership seminars throughout the past 10 years. Cheryl currently resides in Charlottetown . 135
