purchased. It was sold in I960 for $12,500 to Mr. N. D. MacLean, of MaeLean's Funeral Home.

40 Greenfield Ave

Known as the Foster property, it was bought in the Fall of I959 for $I9,500. It was first occupied by Rev. Donald A. Campbell and family.

In I967 much needed repairs, painting and interior decorating was undertaken. In I968 new aluminum combination storm and screen windows were placed on the upper story. In I97l a new refrigerator was purchased. In I973 new carpeting was installed, a new hood and filter over the stove. In I976 the plumbing and fixtures were replaced and painting was done.

A special meeting ofthe congregation was held on April 25, I978. It was decided with continued repairs it was better to sell the manse. The manse was sold for $39,083, and a new manse built on Scott Street.

4 Maple Street

Bought as a manse for the Assistant Minister.

Bought in I967 for $I3,500, formerly known as the Harry MacLeod property. The Gillispie Estate on Hillsboro Street, thought to be used for a manse was sold for $12,300. and the proceeds used for the Maple Street manse.

In I967 new laundry fixtures were installed, and some interior decoration was done. In I970 a new hot water heater was installed. In I97l considerable maintenance and painting was done.

In the Summer on I973 the manse was sold for $l4,750 and a new one at l5 Woodbine was bought.

IS Woodbine Street

In the Summer on I973 the Assistant Ministers manse was bought for $32,587.00 from Lowell Watts of York. Hugh Lowrey and family were the first to move in, that being early September. In I974 the landscaping was done with the driveway being paved.

In I983 this property was purchased by the Presbyterian Church, Toronto to be rented by retired ministers.

80 Scott Street

Built I878 - with a value of7l,075.

In I988 Rev. Gordon Matheson, the minister at the time, constructed his own house and the manse property was leased. The property at 80

Scott Street was sold in June I990 with the proceeds invested, showing 3 I03,607.
