here as well. Cows graze in the fields enjoying the luscious grass.

The homes that grace this community are well kept, with green grass, flowers, and trees found in the spacious house and barn yards.

One must experience a sunrise and a sunset in this community to appreciate its beauty. At dawn, with the ascent of the sun above the horizon illuminating the earth, one feels that we are blessed to be alive. The birds readily attest to this concept with their chirping and morning song. At twilight, when the sun is setting in the west, the sky becomes a gallery of multi—colored splendor. Peace and tranquillity, are evident as the birds become silent and still, as night replaces day.

With the change of seasons, and the approach of winter, “Jack Frost” makes an everlasting impression on this community. He leaves a covering of minute ice needles on the trees, which, when touched by the rising sun, make it a scene of beauty - an artist’s paradise.

Now, last but not least, I love this community because of the enthusiasm of its children expressed by laughter, song, dance, and music. Piano, guitar, and the violin are very much a feature of life in Bear River, and the sounds that they produce can lift the hearts of the young and old.

Yes, to me BEAR RIVER, a tiny segment of Canada’s smallest province, is truly a hidden treasure at the end of a rainbow!
