Energy Services and Karen Ann is a Government Clerk. At the present time they reside at the Douglas home with Karen’s mother, Annie Douglas.

BIGGAR

The first BIGGAR family to come to Prince Edward Island were from Scotland. The names of the parents are unknown, however, the names of three of their sons were John, Jim, and Tom. The family settled in Springfield. TOM is the ancestor of the Biggar families who lived on the Mill River Road. He purchased his first 50 A. of land from S. Cunard in 1856. A second parcel belonging to James/Benjamin Bell was purchased in 1860.

The descendants of Tom will be the subject of our report.

TOM b. Feb. 14, 1815 m. CATHERINE McKAY (Dec. 27, 18__ - 1908) and lived in Stanley Bridge. They had the following family:

DRUMMOND - JAMES STANLEY m. AGNES (Addie) DRUMMOND (1900—1989)

daughter of Samuel and Eliza Drummond of Freetown. They continued with the farming business on the same site as the Biggar ancestors. They had one son Lawson Drummond, b. Feb. 15, 1939.

LAWSON D. m. Shirley May Laurence and have three children. The family lives in Toronto. The names of their children are:
