WEEKS
In 1961, MILTON and ADELAIDE WEEKS purchased land situated on the east side of the present #238 Campbellton Road from Frank and Annie Bell, They built a cottage by the water in 1968 and a permanent home in 1981. They sold their farm in Fredericton. Milton, Adelaide, and daughter Evelyn became permanent residents on June 5, 1981.
After their move, Milton continued with his television repair business which he had enjoyed for many years. Milton was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Weeks. Adelaide’s parents were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wigmore, Graham’s Road, Pleasant Valley, who later retired to Kensington. Evelyn works for the Social Services in Summerside. Adelaide has worked for many years in
the Bed & Breakfast area of Tourism.

GALLANT
HENRY EDWARD GALLANT (1910 — Mar. 13, 1970) son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gallant m. Nov. 22, 1933 - CLARA MAY DOIRON (Mar. 2, 1911 - Oct. 13, 1968)
Edward and Clara Gallant purchased a house from Albert Hiscott (located on “Pickering Point”) — moved it via the ice to the Campbellton Rd. and lived there for a number of years. “Eddy” was engaged in fishing for most of his life. Eddy and Clara sold the house to Nelson and Fannie Roberts and moved their family to North Rustico. The leased land returned to the
“Fyfe” property. They raised one son - Leonard b. Jan. 4, 1945 m. Shirley Hayden b. Aug. 14, 1948 They live in North Rustico
ROBERTS
NELSON and FANNIE CARR ROBERTS purchased Edward and Clara Gallant’s home which was situated on the Campbellton Rd. The land site was part of the William Fyfe I prop- erty. (The Aquarium is on that site today). After WWII they lived here for two years before moving the house to Clifton and remodeling it. They reside in the same house today. Nelson continued with the Military career in the Armed Forces Peace Corps until retirement, They
have a family of three
1. Eric - who purchased the former Alfred MacKay (or more commonly known as the Nicholson house), next to the General Store, west of the bridge. {see Village West}
