ADAMS WALLACE and GERMAINE ADAMS purchased part of the Ferrish property, which the Ferrish family had sold to Neil MacLeod , Summerside . They built a house on the right side of the , and sold part of their property to their son Jerry. A grandson, ROBERT , his wife BONNIE , and three children live on this lot at the present time. WALLACE (Aug. 27, 1905-1975) m. M. GERMAINE RENAULT and lived in the before returning to PEL Their property was sold to MORRIS CASELEY in 1976. CASELEY In 1976 MORRIS CASELEY (1913-1988) purchased the property formerly belonging to and Wallace Adams, situated on the former Farrish property. In 1977 Morris married Lorraine Hughes Callaghan b. 1923, of Alberton . Lorraine owned a ladies wear store in Alberton and continued to be involved with a similar busi¬ ness by opening a ladies' store in the Waterfront Mall, Summerside , which she has named Lorraine's Fashions. Lorraine usually spends her winter months in Summerside . Lorraine has two daughters 1. Mary m. Barry MacDonald . They live in Summerside and have two children 1. Nicholas 2. Spencer 2. Norma m. Stephen " Steve " Baker They live in Newcastle, England and have two children 1. Merritt 2. Stephen GALLANT/ BLACQUIERE As part of the Adams sub-division, Barbara Gallant daughter of T. C . and Anita Gallant, and her husband Richard Blacquiere , formerly of North Rustico , own a cottage in this area. This was built and owned by Barbara's uncle Walter, and his wife Melinda Gallant , formerly of , NB . Barbara and Richard spend their summer holidays on the Island but work in Brantford, ON They have one daughter - Kari Lynn Celeste, born Sept. 25, 1995 {see T.C. Gallant - Rattenbury Road) GRIFFITH - CYR - MacKAY - CAMPBELL - JOHNSTONE Another section of the FERRISH property was owned by PATRICK and JESSIE GRIFFITHS. Following his discharge from the Armed Forces, they built a new home next to the Adams prop¬ erty. He worked for the Provincial Government. They later sold this property to a Cyr family, who taught figure-skating at the "", Kensington . The Griffith's built a home on the north side of the Stanley River , which was sold to Stanford and Gail Carr when the Griffith's moved to Nova Scotia . The Cyr family sold the site to Dr. Allan MacKay , Summerside , and he sold shortly afterwards to Darrell and Josephine Campbell . The Campbell family built a new home on the north side of the river, on a lot owned by Robert and Marina MacKay, where they reside today. In October, 1983, the Campbell's sold to ARTHUR and AMY JOHNSTONE . The Johnstones have resided there since that time, although they spend the winter months in Florida . 395
