Mary Jane Bolger, May 16, 1875 married Michael Bernard Fitzsimmons, born in Long River on February 8, 1861, the son of Robert and Ann (Smith) MacLean Fitzsimmons. They were married in St. Ann’s Church, Hope River on October 23, 1894. They lived in Long River and Indian River and raised a family of fourteen. Bernard died on Feb. 15, 1942 in Long River. He is buried in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Indian River. Mary Jane died in Michigan, USA, on January 5, 1961, and is buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery;

Chelsea, Michigan, USA.

Wellington Emmett Bolger b. October 22, 1877. Wellington died in his eighth year on August 16, 1885.

Thomas Bolger b. April 13, 1879, married Margaret Jane Walsh of Stanley Bridge, the daughter of Patrick and Susanna Margaret (Kemys) Proctor Walsh. They were married in St. Ann’s Church, Hope River on April 21, 1903. They lived most of their married life on the North Road and their four children were born there. Thomas Bolger died on January 30, 1954. His wife Margaret Jane, died on June 16, 1968. They are both

buried in St. Ann’s Parish Cemetery, Hope River.

Catherine Bolger b. March 9, 1882, married Francis J. Greenan, b. November 19, 1867, in Kinkora, the son of James Greenan and Ellen F. Greenan. They were married in St. Ann’s Parish, Hope River on November 19, 1901. They lived in Kinkora and raised a family of eight children. Catherine died on December 29, 1959, and Francis J. died on January 19, 1960. They are buried in St. Malachy’s Parish Cemetery, Kinkora.

Joseph Emmett Bolger, b. August 28, 1887, married mm Frances McKenna, born in St. Patrick’s on June 27, 1889, the daughter of Felix McKenna and Ellen Phee. They were married at St. Dunstan’s Basilica on October 30, 1918. They lived on the Patrick and Catherine Bolger Homestead on the North Road and raised their family there. Joseph Bolger died at his home on December 7, 1951. Mary Frances died in Charlottetown on October 16, 1990. They are both buried in St. Ann’s Cemetery,
