1. JOHN FLEMING In. JOHANNA HARRINGTON, daughter of Cornelius and Johanna McGrath Harrington. John farmed his father Patrick’s land on the Lower Hope River Road. He also had 50 acres running from Hope River Road to North Road. The Pioneer Cemetery is on this property. John and Johanna had nine children:

David Vincent (May 6, 1859 - c. 1925) Hi. Ann Bertha Ready Harrington (Aug. 18, 1876 — 1921), daughter of Joseph and Katherine Sullivan Harrington of Bay View. Dave Fleming and his wife farmed the land previously owned by his father, John and his grandfather, Patrick. In 1920, Walter Reid bought the property and the Flemings moved across the river to BayView. The Flemings had six children:
1. John Joseph Ronald Harrington (June 16, 1896 - Aug. 1, 1930)
2. Adele Mary Marion b. Dec. 7, 1897 m. James Arthur Malone. They raised two children, Clare and Louise.
3. David Gerald Raphael (Mar. 27, 1900 - 1953) m. Dorothea Dornan, Sept. 1, 1926 (c 1902 - Dec. 29, 1940). They had ten children: David (d), Betty (d), Robert, Edward (d), Ronald (d), Adele, Richard, Mary, Ronald, Mary (d)
4. James Patrick D’Arcy (Apr. 8, 1902 — July 20, 1956) m. Ella Mae McCormack.
5. Arthur Edward Vincent b. Feb. 15, 1908 m. Marion Pendergast (1908— June 26, 1933) They had two boys, Billy and Joe.
6. Daniel Dermot Benedict (Sept. 18, 1911 -Aug. 2, 1969) m. Anna Dalton. They had four children: Joyce Cecilia, Ann, David and Tim. D’Arcy and Dermot owned and operated a general store on the west side of Stanley
Bridge in the early 1930’s.
