Mr. Clark died of a brain hemorrhage at the home of his son-in-law, Rev. A.J. Prosser of Kamloops, BC. He had been enroute to Vancouver to spend the winter. He is buried in Cavendish Cemetery . JOHN C. and ANNIE M. CLARK had a family of ten children: 1. Clemmie J. (Dec. 20, 1866 - Dec. 6, 1899) - unmarried - died of typhoid fever. 2. Martha {Dr.} (Dec. 1, 1868 - July 23, 1928) - Medical Missionary in India. 3. Judson {Dr.} (July 27, 1870 - July 26, 1942) m. Eva Couch b. June4, 1872. In 1906 Dr. Judson F . Clark resigned as Provincial Forester of Ont. to become a man¬ aging member of a lumbering operation in B.C . (Daily Patriot) 4. Jeremiah S. {Dr.} b. Dec. 25, 1872 m. Belle Pratt . Medical Missionary with the Native people in Western Canada . 5. Annie S. b. Feb. 14, 1874 m. Adelbert Prosser - Minister in Baptist Church. 6. Zeila M. {Dr.} b. June 27, 1875 - Medical Missionary in India. 7. J. Artemas (Aug. 2, 1877 - Aug. 9, 1970) m. 1 (Mar. 30, 1910) Alison Toole (Feb. 14, 1882 - Oct. 11, 1944) m. 2 {Oct. 26, 1947} Edith Bell Sterns (Mar. 30, 1882 - March 1959) Artemas was Superintendent of the Experimental Farm, Charlottetown and held a Doctorate Degree in Agriculture . 8. Andrew (Dec. 19, 1879 -Apr. 4, 1883) 9. Irene W. (Jan. 21, 1882 - July 1, 1943) m. Elsi Miller 10. Ray (1886-1982) m.l Bertha Hillman (1883-1935) daughter of John and Annie Cobb Hillman - Stanley Bridge - later - Ray and Bertha had a family of five children: 1. Ira (1913-1944) Killed in Italy, World War II 2. Helen m. to Charles Palmer . They live in , NB 3. Daphne adopted daughter of Ray and Bertha m. G. MacAulay - They live in Sussex, N.B. Ray m. 2. Olive Zinc (1898-1975) Ira was a Pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II m. Jessie MacLean (1911-March 5, 1998). They had one child - Phyllis b. Mar. 6, 1937 m. _______ Broughton - They live in Ontario . Phyllis' son, Michael Clark Boughton (July 1, 1961 - Apr. 20, 1991) is also buried in the family plot in the Breadalbane Cemetery .
