July 10, 1918, Guardian: Report is published on Georgetown Royalty School, Seymour Gordon, teacher.

July 20, 1918, Guardian: Another Mock Trial is held at Georgetowu IOGT meeting.

July 26, 1918, Guardian: D. L. McAulay, New Glasgow, purchases Thomas Henry’s house on

Gordon Street, having it remodeled by William Bachilder.

August, 1918, Guardian: Staff at Georgetown School is announced: Principal, Lloyd Shaw; Vice-principal, Anna Miar;with Bertha Smith, Hutton Dalziel, Miss Campbell, Miss Gallant [As it turned out school had to be closed through much of October and also later due to influenza; Hutton Dalziel a victim but recovered]
