Sept. 15, 1920, Patriot: Homer Norton is principal of G.H.S.with teachers Anna Miar, Susie DeLorie, Nellie MacDonald, Mary Doyle and Avina Campbell. When Anna Miar resigned in October to take up nurse’s training, she was replaced by Mrs. Glen Jenkins.

Oct., 1920, Patriot: John A. McKinnon moves his grocery store from the Cogswell Comer to the former McLean store, cor. Richmond and Kent. Russell McLean has moved to New Glasgow.

May 28, 1921, Patriot: The Georgetown Tigers defeat Souris Stars 9 to 8 in baseball. Cheverie, Yorston, Johnson & Smith reported as making “splendid plays.”
May 29, 1921, Patriot: John Bachelor’s barn with a horse and cow are destroyed by fire.
June 14, 1921, Patriot: Mrs. Aeneas McDonald has opened the up-to—date “Seabreeze Hotel” in the former Sencabaugh property. It is to appeal especially to summer visitors.
July 27, 1921, Patriot: Teachers in G.H.S. for the coming year are Principal, E. J. Hodgson Monisey, vice—principal, Cecilia Cullen with Stella Morris, J. A. B. McConnell, Mrs. Glen Jenkins and Eileen Hibbett.
July 22, 1921, Patriot: Dr. Meech leaves Georgetown to set up his practice in Montague; Georgetown is now without a medical doctor. Meech sold his property in Georgetown.
