Rev. Andrew Lockhead, M.D., in the 46th year of his age. The deceased was sometime missionary of the Church of Scotland in this Island, where he will be long and affectionately remembered.” (P__rotestant, Feb. 13, 1864.) An obituary for Lockheadin the Protestant, Mar. 19, 1864, informs the reader that Lochhead Ind successfully pursued a course in medical practice and that he had been serving temporarily as chaplain in Paisley Jail, intending to return to P.E.l..
