The deceased was medalist at Georgetown High School in 1897 and latterly had served on the staff of St Dunstan’s College. He leaves his bereaved parents, two brothers and four

D. At Georgetown, Saturday, June 7, 1902, Capt. James Bourke, age 75. For a number of years he had the agency of the winter steamers. He leaves to mourn a widow, sister of Mr. George Moar, Georgetown Royalty; three sons and two daughters: Rev. A. E Burke, Alberton; Thomas, sailing out of Gloucester, Mass; James, at home; Emma, Tignish; Mrs. John Morrison, Providence, RI. He was predeceased by his daughter, Mrs. D. Murphy and son, Dr. W.G. D. In the P.E.I. Hospital, on Tuesday, Sept. 23. Hon Malcolm Macdonald, of Georgetown, age 67. The burial was in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Georgetown and was attended by the Lieut—Govemor and the premier of P.E.I., along with most of the cabinet and other political notables. The pallbearers included Hon. Dan Gordon and A.J. Macdonald, M.L.A.. A synopsis of the funeral oration by Rev. A.W.K. Herdman was printed in Sept. 27th Patriot.
