James Simpson, spoke of deceased’s “faithfulness in ministry to a mere handful of people year after year amid much discouragement and many drawbacks and also his

D. At Georgetown, Apr. 16, 1903, Reginald Cherry, of pneumonia. age 18. he was the eldest son of erliam Chem and a member of the Georgetown Band. Only last Tuesday (Apr. 7?) the funeral of his mother Mrs. Cherry took place. (From Patrig, Apr. 17, 1903)

D. At Bumt Point on May 7, 1903, Hector MacKinnon, age 64, leaving a daughter and four sons. He came to Georgetown from Cape Breton 35 years ago. His death came as a result of falling off a seeder caught in his gate, thus breaking his neck. Burial in St. James Cemetery.” (From Examiner, May 9, 1903)

D. At Georgetown, recently, Peter Stewart, age 88, leaving four daughters and two sons of his family of 13. His son Hugh is in Georgetown; the others in the U.S.A.. The late Mr. Stewart was born in 1815 and came to Georgetown in 1833 and has resided here ever since working as a carpenter and builder. The funeral took place on May 17, Rev. F.S. Coffin officiating. Interment in the Presbyterian Cemetery. (From Patriot May 18, 1903)

M. At St. James Church, Georgetown, on Tuesday, July 7th July, Annie Laura Moar, daughter of George Moar, Georgetown Royalty and AlexanderJ . Macdonald, son of Ronald Macdonald, Cherry Valley.
