D. The death took place at Georgetown Royalty Sunday morning of Mrs. John McDonald, age 98. She was formerly Catherine Maclnnis of T racadie. She leaves to mourn three sons and three daughters. The burial took place this morning at Georgetown at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.” (From Patriot, May 23, 1905)

D. “At Murray River, Friday, June 9th, after a short illness, George McLeod, age 53. A wife, one son and three daughters, including Mrs. M C. McDonald, Georgetown, are left to mourn.” (Patriot, June 14, 1905)

D. “At Georgetown, on June 20th, after an illness of some years, Mrs. Ronald Yorston, age 54 years. She was the daughter of Donald McPhee, Burnt Point and

D. At Georgetown, Nov. 19, 1900, took place the funeral of Geoffrey Gotell, son of Francis Gotell, after a brief

M. At Stella Maris Church, Pictou, N. 8., Nov. 19, Miss Lily Decoste of that place and Maurice Donovan of Georgetown, P.E.I., one of the stewards on the S.S.Stanley. Rev. D. Gillis performed the ceremony. Attendants were Mary McDougall and Alex McComrick. (From Patriot, Dec. 8 & 9, 1905)

McCormack at the homestead; Dominick in Georgetown; Lizzie, wife of R. J. Steele, Newport; and Catherine, wife of A. D. McPhee, Georgetown. Funeral from St. Georges’.”(Patriot, Jan 22, 1906)

D. At the home of her parents, Captain and Mrs. Archibald Lord, Victoria,P.E.I., Granville, age 28, wife of George Hibbett, conductor on the P.E.I. Railway, Georgetown. She leaves to mourn her sorrowing husband, a son and a daughter, one brother and four sisters. Funeral at Crapaud. (From Patriot, Jan. 23, 1906) [Capt Lord died in June, 1906]

D. At Lower Montague, Feb. 7th, 1906, at the home of her son Allan, Margaret Macdonald, age 93, widow of the late Hon. Joseph Wightman. About 20 years ago she moved from St. Andrew’s Point where her husband conducted an extensive business to Lower Montague where she has since resided. She leaves one son, George of Montague Bridge, and a daughter, Mrs. C. B. B. Poole, Lower Montague. Funeral from St. James’ Church, Georgetown. (From Patriot, Feb. 8, l906)

D. “At Georgetown, on Wednesday, Feb. let, 1906, Mary Matilda, aged 40 years, daughter of the late Alexander Walker of Georgetown.” (Patriot, Mar. 2, 1906)

D. “At the Cottage Farm, Georgetown Royalty, on May 18th, Mrs. Mary Ann Macdonald, age 74, leaving the following sons and daughter: James, Thomas and Eliza at home; Francis in Pennsylvania. The funeral took place May 20th to St. James Cemetery, Georgetown.” (Patriot, May 23 & June 7th, 1906)

At the residence of the her parents, Evelyn May Owen, daughter of Charles Owen, Collector of Customs, Georgetown, and Mrs. Owen, to Mr. Alder Brehaut, Stipendary Magistrate for Queen’s County, Charlottetown. The officth was Rev. Walter Cotton of Trinity Church, Georgetown. There were no attendants or reception due to the indisposition of the bride’s mother, but May will be “at home” On Tuesday & Wednesday, June 26th & 27th at Government House, Charlottetown, the residence of her sister Mrs. D.
