D. “The funeral of the late Joseph Fairehild takes place from his residence in Georgetown at 2 o’clock on Sunday to the English Church Cemetery. The burial will be observed with Masonic honors.” (Guardian, Mar. 15, 1907) Fairchild died Mar. 14, age 77, leaving a son, Nelson, and daughters Elizabeth and Josephine. He left grandchildren: Annie Emma Jenkins; Arthur Edward Jenkins; Frederick Joseph Jenkins; Mary Ellen Jenkins; and Bessie MargaretJenkins. (Guardian Apr. 4, 1907)
D. The death occurred at Georgetown on Mar. 23 of William Dalziel, aged 81 years, a respected citizen of that town. He had been ill for a long time. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. M. Cardin and Mrs. Harry Jenkins of the USA. and a son, John, of the P.E.I. R. [Another news item mentions a Miss Jessie, at home] He was born in Munay Harbour N. and moved to Georgetown in 1865 and worked in customs from 1872 to 1900. He married twice: 1st to Miss Jessie Ferguson who died in 1869 and in 1873, Miss Annie Cameron of Pictou, N. S. who died three years ago. (From Guardian, Mar. 25 & Mar. 27, 1907)

M. “The marriage of Frank McLaren of Winnipeg, son of Capt. William McLaren, Georgetown, to Miss Ada Macdonald of Winnipeg takes place in that city, June 5th. Mr. McLaren is the manager of the Van Dusen Harrington Co., grain dealers, and is one of the successful young business men of the West. Miss Macdonald is one of the leading soprano singers of Winnipeg.” (Guardian, May. 28, 1907)
D. “Mrs. Frank Batchilder and her four children of Northfield, Vt., are in Charlottetown en route to Panmure Island, where they will reside with Mrs. Batchilder’s mother, Mrs. Dugald McDonald. Mr. Batchilder, who was a railway conductor, was killed last Sept. by being crushed between the cars. The accident happened on the evening of Sept. 22nd and he died on the following morning in the hospital. He was 30 years of age and left a widow and four children.”(Guardian, June 13, 1907)
B & D. At Government House, Charlottetown, June 12 to Alder & Mrs. Brehaut (May Owen of Georgetown), a daughter. The child, Margaret Alice, died on June 18th

Parker, Georgetown Royalty, took place on the 26th inst, at the residence of the bride’s parents, Rev. George Robertson officiating.
