This summer he was master and owner of the schooner Joseph O . which was engaged in the coastal trade, her last trip being to Georgetown with a load of coal. Captain White was an active and capable mariner, steady and industrious. His death will be a heavy blow to the bereaved family and will be deeply regretted by many friends.
