She was born in but lived for many years in Georgetown , P.E.I , where she taught school with the late Malcolm McLeod , Q.C. She leaves to mourn two sons and four daughters: Sydney in Boston, Ernest in Alaska , Mrs. Dr. Thomas Morey & Mrs. Dr. J. M. Master , both of Boston. Suddenly at Georgetown , April 5th, John Smith , Sr. age 90, the oldest resident of Georgetown . He was a native of , Ireland but came to P.E.I , at age 11, and had been resident of Georgetown for 51 years, for 40 years as a blacksmith. His widow, also a native of Ireland survives him.
