D. At Albion, recently, William Westaway, age 64. He was the son of Richard Westaway and Mary Creed who had a family of 7 boys and 3 girls, “all of them of great stature and weight”, the deceased at one time weighing 320 lbs. He married Mary Jane Sensabaugh of Murray Harbour North. He leaves to mourn a son John and an ado teddaughter; and also 4 brothers and 3 sisters: Mrs. T 0rd Joseph and James in New York ; Mrs. George Aitken and Roger at Aitken’s Ferry; Mrs. Leith Poole, Montague, Nathaniel at Albion. D. At Cardigan, King’s County, P.E.I on Oct. 15, Deborah Foster Bulpitt, age 75 yrs., 5 months, wife of Thomas H. Bulpitt, leaving a husband, three daughters and two sons. The funeral was held from her daughter, Mrs. Ambrose Crawford’s, home on St. Peter’s Road. Interment was at Union Road Cemetery. Mrs. Bulpitt was born in Crapaud. Mr. Bulpitt was a grandson of the Rev. James C. Bulpitt, first Methodist minister in P.E.I.. He camefrom England. (Wesleyan, Nov. 10, 1920)

D. At Georgetown, Sunday, Nov. 14th, Mrs. Sarah Allan, aged 94. Mrs. Allan (nee Sarah Coffin) lived in Fortune foranumber of years until 1913 when she came to live with her daughter, Mrs. White. She leaves to mourn two daughters: Mrs. White, Georgetown and Mrs. Williams, Boston, Mass. and one son William, Murray River. Burial in the Presbyterian Cemetery. D. At Georgetown, Nov. 25th, Marion Ross, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Peter Ross, aged 3. She leaves to mourn her loss beside her sorrowing parents, two sisters, Myrtle and Ella. The funeral took place in the Presbyterian Cemetery. (From Patriot, Dec. 2, 1920)

F. At St. David’s Presbyterian Church, Georgetown, Dec. 10th, of Miss Annie McConnell, aged 74. Rev. J. A. Greenlees officiating. She was a native of Kirkudbright (another account says “Kincardine”) Scotland and came thirty years ago to live with her brother William [another account says she came wi_th her brother William to P.E.I.] One sister Margaret predeceased her. At Westville, N.S., recently, Mrs. Thomas Wright, formerly Miss Annie McAulay of Georgetown, P.E.I., leaving a sorrowing husband, one child, Isabel, her mother, Mrs. George McAulay and two sisters: Mrs. Fraser, Chance Harbour, NS. and Mrs. Reid. New Glasgow and two brothers, Donald Roderick and Malcolm residing in Pictou County. (From Patriot, Jan. 25, 1921)

D. In New Glasgow, recently, Mrs. Smith, formerly Jean Hicken of Georgetown, leaving a husband and daughter besides here husband, mother, brothers and sisters. (From Gm, Jan. 27, 1921)

D. At Bridgewater, N.S., Captain William Gordon, master-mariner, aged 81, formerly of Georgetown, P.E.I.. He was the eldest son of Peter Gordon and spent a large part of his life on the sea, sailing the world over. He was made a captain at age 20. His own boat was the Regina B. . He a was master also of the Caspian and after that ship was lost 30 years ago, he moved to Georgetown until a year and a half ago when he and his wife went to live with their daughter in Bridgewater. He leaves to mourn his widow, daughter Sylvia, (Mrs. John A Lockerby); three brothers Captain Alfred and Fade in Roseneath, and Captain Lemuel in Tacoma, Wash. and also a sister, Mrs. John Westaway of Georgetown.
