At Bridgewater, N.S. , Captain William Gordon , master-mariner, aged 81, formerly of Georgetown, P.E.I. . He was the eldest son of Peter Gordon and spent a large part of his life on the sea, sailing the world over. He was made a captain at age 20. His own boat was the Regina B. . He a was master also of the Caspian and after that ship was lost 30 years ago, he moved to Georgetown until a year and a half ago when he and his wife went to live with their daughter in Bridgewater . He leaves to mourn his widow, daughter Sylvia, ( Mrs. John A Lockerby ); three brothers Captain Alfred and Fade in Roseneath , and Captain Lemuel in Tacoma, Wash, and also a sister, Mrs. John Westaway of Georgetown .
