He was nephew to John Delory , Georgetown . (From Guardian. Oct. 30, 1932) D. At the home of his daughter, Mrs. Peter Ross , Georgetown , on Oct 25th, Scobie N. Johnson , aged 79. He was born in Long River , P.E.I , but moved to Cardigan and then to Georgetown where he worked as a carpenter. He also served a term as bailiff and for four and a half years was jailer in Georgetown . He was a prominent member of the Orange Order . He was cared for in his illness by his daughter and his sister-in-law, Mrs. LePage . He leaves to mourn three daughters: Mrs. Peter Ross , Georgetown ; Mrs. Edgar Webber , Chester, Mass. ; & Mrs. Charles Hartshorne , Lynn, Mass. . Burial was in the Baptist Cemetery , Georgetown . (From Patriot. Oct. 27 & Guardian. Oct. 31, 1932) D. At Georgetown , Nov. 4th, George Rafuse , aged 58(?) Born in Martin's Point , MahoneBay, N.S. , he was a seaman all his life. He leaves to mourn a widow and eleven surviving children. The sons are: Victor, Harry, Albert, John & Lester in Georgetown ; Oliver in Charlottetown , William in Everett, Mass; the daughters are: Mrs. James McLeod , Halifax ; Mrs. Herbert Fraser & Miss Jennie Rafuse , Charlottetown . and Miss Marion Rafuse , Georgetown ; also a brother and sister. In earlier years he was in command of sailing ships owned by Daniel Gordon and others and latterly was captain of the ferry Montague. He also farmed. Three children survive; Sister Paula ; Rev. William MacPhee and Hon . Hugh Frank MacPhee , Charlottetown . He was a devoted member of St. James Church. (From Guardian.
