Town Clerk and Dominion Government wharfingcr for Georgetown. He was a Mason and a Liberal. His wife Clara Henry predeceased him as did four children He is survived by six sons: John, Sturgeon; Albert, and Earl, Charlottetown, David and Harry in Georgetown and Raymond in Summerside; also a daughter, Bessie, Mrs. Albert Fraser, Montague. D. Atthe Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, N.S., April 3, 1953, Russell R. MacLean, aged 71 years. He was the son of Angus MacLean, general merchant of Georgetown, P.E.I., and succeeded his father in the business until his move to Nova Scotia. He was a lieutenant in World War 1. In Nova Scotia he was a wholesale fruit and produce merchant and member of various fruitier associations. His wife. Grace Nickerson, survives him; also a daughter, Jean (Mrs. Dr. Charles Harries) and a son, John. Burial in St. David’s Cemetery, Georgetown. (Guardian, April 4, 1953)

He was bom in Halifax but brought up in Georgetown, P.E.I. and was, among other occupations, a grocer in that town and in Charlottetown. D. Suddenly, on Aug. 2, 1953, Frank C. Dalziel, formerly of Borden, retired chief engineer of the carferry, in his 64th year. He was the son of John A. & Mrs.
Dalziel and though born in Charlottetown on Nov. 1, 1869, came at a young age with his parents to live in Georgetown, P.E.I.. .He was a crew member of the S .S . Minm on her voyage to Russia. Left to mourn are his widow Kathleen Smith, formerly of Georgetown sons John and Frank and daughter Elizabeth. Also brothers William, John, Albert, Walter and James and sisters Jessie and Catherine.
