D. At the Provincial Sanitorium, Jan. 7, 1957, J. Wilfred Hunter, in his 57th year, formerly of Georgetown, P.E.I.. He served overseas in World War 1, then in 1918 entered the postal service. He is survived by his widow Edith McRae of Point Prim. Burial in People’s Cemetery, Charlottetown. (From Guardian, Jan. 8, 1957)

D. At Georgetown, Feb. 6th, Daniel Skinner, in his 87th year. He was born on Madam Island, CB, and moved to Georgetown at an eariy age. In his ymrnger days he followed the sea. He was a Mason for over 50 years. His wife Catherine MacLeod predeceased him in 1950. He leaves to mourn three daughters: Elizabeth, of Georgetown; Sybil (Mrs. Woolard Yorston), Port Maitland, N. S., Doris (Mrs. Capt. Nelson Dicks) and one son: Albert, of Georgetown. Also left are his three sisters: Mrs. Laura Lavers and Miss Beatrice Skinner, Georgetown and Mrs. R.S. Glidden, Nantucket. D. Suddenly, at the Charlottetown Hospital. April 3rd, Rita Geraldine Wight, daughter of Mrs. William Wight and the late William Wight, Georgetown, aged 33. She was a member of the staff of Montague High School and had been Principal at Georgetown High School and also taught at other schools. She was born in Panmure Island. She leaves to mourn besides her mother six brothers; Rev. Howard, Sqdn-Leader, R.C.A.F. Base, Greenwood, N.S.; Newman of Methuen Mass; Archie, Neil and Rupert, of Georgetown, and Clem of Needham, Mass; also four sisters: Nelly, (Mrs. Henry Craig), Needham, Mass; Margaret (Mrs. Charles Landrigan, Brooklyn, N.Y., Mildred, R.N., Mrs. George MacDonald, Charlottetown, Eileen (Mrs. Lawrence Batchilder), Georgetown; one brother, Adam, predeceased her. D. At the Charlottetown Hospital, June 6, 1957, Percy L. Boudreault, Mayor of Georgetown, in his 6lst year. He was born in Georgetown, the son of Peter Boudreault and Sophia King. As a young man he was a member of the RCMP; later he opened a general store in Georgetown. He was sewing his seventh term as mayor of the town; he was also organist and choinnaster at St. James Church. He leaves to mourn his widow, Gertrude Ki ggins. a sister Eva (Mrs. Peter Gotell) of Georgetown and three brothers: James of Summerville, P.E.l., Fabian of Georgetown and John of Newport. P.E.I..
