D. On July 30th, 1962, at Georgetown, Henry William Parker in his 77th year. He was born and lived in Georgetown his entire life. He owned and operated Parker’s Foundry until his death. He leaves to mourn his wife, the former Janie Murphy of Georgetown; sons Herbert, in the R.C.A.F, Summerside; Frank at home; Harry in Montreal; and a daughter, Edith (Mrs. James Fortune), Halifax. D. On Oct. 28, 1962, near Sawyerville, Que., as a result of exposure from a sudden cold and snow while lost in the woods, Stirling Arthur Mair, aged 27. He was a member of the staff of Iachine Y.M.C.A. in Montreal, and was formerly from Georgetown, P.E.I.. Left to mourn are his wife, nee Joan Aitchison, and daughter Krishna; his mother, Mrs. Roland Marsh, and stepfather Roland Marsh of Five Islands, Nova Scotia; four brothers: Rev. Nathan, of Port Elgin, N. B.; Lorin of Brooks, Alta; James of Ottawa, Stillman of Port Moody, BC and a sister, Beatrice, R.N. of Port Elgin, N.B.. D. Atthe University Teachers” Training Hospital, Lagos, Nigeria, Stephen S. Hessian, Q.C., Montague, aged 71, while attending the Parliamentary Association Conference there. He was a long-time Liberal M.L.A. for Fifth Kings He was once Speaker of the House and was involved in many community associations. He was born in Georgetown of a large family and married Blanche Wickham who survives him as also a son, Stephen, Jr. Requiem High Mass was celebrated in St. James Church, Georgetown and interment was in the church cemetery. D. At the RE]. Hospital, Nov. 26th, 1962, Richard W. Lavers, in his 52nd year. He was the son of the late Harry Lavers and his wife Mabel Stewart. He was a carpenter by trade and served overseas in the Royal Canadian Engineers. He is survived by sisters: Dorothy (Mrs. Stephen Landry), Francis (Mrs. Emerson Llewellyn), both of Georgetown; Edna (Mrs. Judson Baker), Trenton, NS; and brothers: Theodore, Charlottetown and Fenwick. D. At his home in Newport, P.E.I., Nov. 30, 1962, Eugene Joseph DeLory in his 76th year. He was bom in Georgetown Royalty, the son of John and Mary Deborie (fie) but moved to Newport in 1907. He was a potato inspector for many years. Left to mourn besides his sorrowing widow are one son, Francis, and four daughters: Mary (Mrs. William Murphy), Panmure Island, P.E.I.; Rose (Mrs. Darrell Davis, Medford; Norma (Mrs. Ray Dutcher), Richmond, Calif. D. At the King’s County Hospital, Montague, P.E.I., on Dec. 7, 1962, Joseph William Gotell, of Georgetown, PE]. in his 66th year. He was born in Georgetown, the son of the late Jeffrey Gotell and his wife, Mary Peters, but lived in Boughton Island where he farmed and fished for much of his life. The family moved to Georgetown in 1949. He was married to Emily Mae Farrell who died in 1958. Left to mourn are four sons: Joseph, of the R.C.A.F Portage La Prairie, Man.; Gordon in Weymouth, Mass; Kimball and Basil, in Georgetown; and a daughter, Mary (Mrs. Arnold Murphy), of Vancouver, BC Also surviving are a brother Stephen, of N.B., and two sisters.
