Charles Fitzgerald and his wife, Katherine Robertson . He served in the Postal Corps during World War 11 and was postmaster at Georgetown for 32 years. He was an active and esteemed citizen, serving as a town councilor, as the first president of the Georgetown branch of the Canadian Legion, and in many other Georgetown and area organizations. He was choirmaster at St. James Church. He was married twice: first to Mae Gotell , who died in 1934, and then to Nettie Walker , who survives him. His children are: Leonard, of Prince George , B.C .; Mary ( Mrs. Emmett Smith ), Montreal; Kathleen ( Mrs. . Walter Conohan ), Cardigan, P.E.I. ; Frances ( Mrs. Albert Burke ), Charlottetown ; James, , Manitoba ; Adele ( Mrs. Don Morrissey ), Charlottetown ; Gertrude ( Mrs. William Murphy ) Germany; Charles , R.C.A.F. , Gimli, Man..
