D. At the P.E.I. Hospital, June 30, 1969, William E. White, of Borden, formerly of Georgetown, P.E.l. in his 80th year. He was born in Georgetown, the son of Capt. William H. White, and his wife, Elizabeth Helen, (daughter of Capt. Benjamin Allen and his wife Sarah Coffin). He worked on ice boats, and for the last almost forty years on the Borden ferries, latterly as quarterrnaster. He was a Mason. He leaves to mourn his wife, Mattie [see following obituary] and daughter Phyllis (Mrs. Heath Maclean) Winsloe, P.E.l.; his brother, Russell, in Georgetown and sister, Mrs. John Turner, Charlottetown. She was the daughter of Charles Johnson and his wife, Mary Arm Allen, of Georgetown, P E.I.. She leaves to mom her daughter, Phyllis (Mrs. Heath MacLean) Winsloe, PE 1. ; sisters Florence (Mrs. Glen Jenkins), Charlottetown, and Miriam (Mrs. James MacKenzie), San Francisco, California, and a brother, Joseph F.
