7726 Haunted Road

They walked the road together,

Three fishermen side by side.

They heard the road was haunted, From a hanging where Blumphy died. The night was dark and raining,

The wind blew eerie sounds,

joe spoke of walking the main road, But the bridge was broken down. Walking and talking together,

They mocked the hanging tree,

When a ghost appeared beside them, The fishermen fell to their knees.

Then up and swiftly running

Followed by shrieking sounds,

Partly down the darkened road,

Joe wrestled the ghost to the ground. The trees all shook and trembled, When Blumphy’s ghost was downed. The haunted woods fell silent, followed By a thundering hanging sound. At last The spell was broken, joe was the first To tell of a fearful fight, on that evil night, That rescued Blumphy’s soul from hell.
