a loan of $40,000 from the Credit Union. Clifton Conroy, a great sports promoter for minor hockey,
retired to his native home of Tignish and began coaching that winter. He was appointed Co-Ordinator of the Minor Hockey council for Prince Edward Island. The Arena was now playing a very active part in the Island game of hockey. The Western Flyers became the ”Atlantic Juvenile 'A' hockey champions before a turn out of twelve hundred fans. It was one ”of the busiest seasons, for manager Harvey Myers, who spent many late nights scheduling ice time for all of the activities taking place at the
