retired to his native home of Tignish and began coaching that winter. He was appointed Co-Ordinator of the Minor Hockey council for Prince Edward Island. The Arena was now playing a very active part in the Island game of hockey. The Western Flyers became the ”Atlantic Juvenile 'A' hockey champions before a turn out of twelve hundred fans.
