78 Success on the Edge Source Notes for Chapter Four Some of the sources for this chapter are the same as those for earlier chapters - the minutes of board meetings at Tignish Fisheries, the Journals of the Legislative Assembly, and the Myricks of Tigm'slz. Other written sources include the brochures on the history of Tignish Credit Union and Tignish Co-op Association written by myself, and still obtainable from the institutions in question. An invaluable, as well as entertaining, book on the Antigonish Movement in Prince Edward Island during the thirties is Crud/ed in the Waves by John Croteau. It is out of print, but should be fairly easy to find in large libraries. There also exist many books about the Antigonish Movement in general. This chapter is also based to a considerable extent on conversations and interviews with Edith Eldershaw, Anne-Marie Perry, and Wilson Shea. Without their patience and good memories, this chapter would have been incomplete, inaccurate, and dull, since much of this information has not been written down elsewhere. For the period from 1964 on, my own observations have contributed somewhat to the story recounted herein. PAGE NOTES p.60 - Minutes of a meeting of the board of Tignish Fisheries: 11 January, 1930.
