Angus Munn Angus Munn was an excellent farmer. He made a good living and saved money. It was said that when he died he had saved up eleven thousand dollars. That was a lot of money when compared with today's inflation. His wife was a MacMillan from Wood Islands . I used to see them going to visit her family. He always had a good team of horses, which always looked very well looked after. Angus was a very kind man with a soft voice. His nephew, Monty Livingstone, whose mother died when he was young, was brought up there. Angus's sister was married to Kenny Ferguson. After Kenny died, she and her daughter stayed at Angus's. She later married Dan Smith and moved to Wood Islands . Monty Livingstone remained a bachelor and he was a pillar of Little Sands church. They said he was fixing the roof when he was well over 80 years old. Monty always looked after the cemetery and cut the grass there. 95
