Malcolm was one of the outstanding Elders in the church. I could still see the look on his face, as if he were still living, as I and my Wife attended the 100th anniver— sary of the Little Sands church. The guest speaker, a former minister of that church, kept talking of “the need to prune the church” and no doubt build one church in Murray River to include Murray Harbour and the sur- rounding area of Southern Kings.

Malcolm MacNeill was not only a well-meaning citizen

but highly respected.
