erected with an indoor seating capacity of approximately 20. Open from May until Thanksgiving, the menu has expanded to include homemade pizza, marinated mussels, seafood, meat pies, as well as a seafood counter in the months of July and August.

Anne of Red Doors offers casual and fine dining. This licensed restaurant, owned and operated by Anne and Ron Stewart, also offers a private dining room. which seats up to ten people, for private parties and meals. In addition to the restaurant, dinner theaters are featured in the off season, an outside patio during the summer months, and a gallery featuring local paintings, photography, handcrafted woodwork, pottery, and other crafts. Bike rentals and kite sales also compliment the business. Currently, nine employees are hired during the summer months.

The Bay Bulletin is a monthly publication enjoyed by the residents of the St. Peters area. Designed, written, and produced by Ron and Anne Stewart and various volunteers, the publication has grown from four pages in March of 1997 to sixteen pages in July of 1998. It is a non profit publication with the revenues from the advertising paying for the printing and mail distribution costs.

Opened in May of 2000, the Shipwreck Point Café is owned by Hilrey and Jacinta Macisaac. Overlooking the scenic North Shore, the dining room is also available for booking special events such as dinner meetings, birthdays, or anniversary parties.

BUSINESSES

Milligan’s Fisheries, a family business owned by Philip and Wyman Milligan, was incorporated as a business in 1983 and currently employs twenty to twenty-five people. They buy lobster, crab, and other types of fish from local fishermen in Morell, Naufrage, Souris, and Hardy’s Channel. They have offices in St. Peters and Alberton.

Old Macdonald's Store has been owned by brothers George, Paul, and Albert MacDonald since 1995. The gas and convenience store also provides a corner for locals to gather, drink coffee, share gossip, and according to George, “tell lies.”

The St. Peters Irving, operated by Kim and Johnny Burke since March of 1995, employs two full—time mechanics, three part—time WOrkers, and one seasonal worker during the summer months. In addition to gas, the station offers towing services and vehicle inspection and repairs.

Began in 1984, G & P Trucking, owned by Gerry and Jo—Anne MaCKinnon started with two full time employees, and currently employ fiVE people full time, and as many as ten to fifteen in the busy summer months. The majority of their work deals with road building, private and municipal sewer, water systems, land clearing, local and import gravel, Sh'clle, topsoil, and sand.
