“Here are two schools, one on the north and he other on the south side of the river scarcely a mile apart with the bridge about midway between. Both schools were over crowded and neither could support or accommodate two teachers. The obvious thing to do was to open a room somewhere near the junction of the districts and have the senior pupils from both districts attend. This would change two crowded schools of all grades into a school of two departments for each district. "
