Guy Chretien 60- William Paul , Apt. 503 Verdun, QC, H 3 E 1 N 5 Phone:(514)762-1624 Third youngest of nine children raised by Marie Boisvert and Willie Chretien , Guy was born on June 30, 1929. He was a "big brother" to the youngest: Jean who became Prime Minister of Canada ; and Michel, a medical doctor-researcher who is widely known for his research into the role of endorphins in the human body. Luckily for the Chretien children, their parents stressed the importance of education and spent all their savings on books, boarding schools and universities. After completing elementary grades in his home town of , Guy advanced to the classical college in Joliette and then to SDU to earn his BA. The year 1955 was perhaps the most significant one in Guy's life as he graduated from the University of Montreal's faculty of Pharmacy; married Maria Dura ; and opened his own drug store in where he enjoyed a 25-year career as a pharmacist.
