Gerald E. Clarke Apt 1008, , Ottawa, ON K 1G4A7 Phone (613) 737-7522 Gerry was bom in Ottawa, July 5th, 1925, the third in a family of 10 children to Charles and Mary (O'Rourke) Clarke. He attended St. Patrick's and St. Agatha's schools for his elementary education and completed his high school at St. Patrick's College. He served in the R.C.A.F . for two years before returning to St. Patrick's College (University of Ottawa) to complete a B. Commerce in 1949. He moved to St. Dunstan's where he joined the faculty as Professor of Economics in the new B. Commerce program while at the same time completing the requirements for an Arts degree at St. Dunstan's , graduating in 1951. He returned to Ottawa where he attended the University of Ottawa, graduating with an M.A . in 1959 while teaching at St. Patrick's College Gerry's employment history includes St. Dunstan's as Professor of Economics, 1949-51, Dominion Bureau of Statistics, as Statistician 1951-54, Professor of Economics, St. Patrick's College, 1954-67 and Carleton University as Professor of Economics, 1967-89.
