He enrolled in the Social Work program at St. Patrick’s College of the University of Ottawa but did not complete the training there. Years later, in 1983, he completed a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at Berkley University in San Francisco. California. He worked as a pharmaceutical representative in the Toronto area for fifieen years.

St. Clair married Joan Lowry RN. and they became the parents of

four children: Barbara lives in Marathon, Ontario and is employed at a mill in the

area. Stephen lives in Whitby, Ontario and works in a bank Michael lives in Whitby where he owns a construction company. John is employed by a law firm in Toronto.

On January 10“, 1987, St. Clair died, and his wife Joan died three years later in 1991.

St. Clair Gallant was a favorite among his classmates and each and every one of them echo his family’s comments: “He was a great man ; and we loved him very much.”
