Wildor was born on the first day of March, 1928 in Matane, Province of Quebec, the only child of Edward Houde and Estelle Guimont. He attended the Academic St. Antoine, Matane for the first eight years of his education, then the College St. Joseph, Berthierville, Que. for his high school years. In 1947 he began his four year stint at St. Dunstan’s University and graduated in 1951 with a B.Sc. Wildor was an outstanding hockey player at SDU where, as a member of the senior hockey team, he won his athletic ‘”‘D His biographer in the 1951 Red and White characterized Wildor in Shakespearean terms as follows: “And certainly he was a good fellow”.
In 1955 Wildor went on to study at the Palmer College of Chiropractic, in Davenport, Iowa and graduated with a Doctor in Chiropractic (DC) in 1959. He has been a practicing Chiropractor in Matane, Que, for the past 42 years.
