employment in the oil exploration business doing seismic testing for oil and gas. He made this his life's work moving from Alberta, to Ontario , to Manitoba , to British Columbia and finally to Montana and North Dakota in the United States, all the time having his residence in Calgary. His principal employer during these years was Norcana Explorations. When he retired from the oil and gas business in 1987, he started a new career working part time for the Bank of Nova Scotia where he is still employed. Charlie and Mary Ann Rozmahel were married in Viking, Alberta , on October 3rd, 1964. Charlie says: "We were blessed with four children. Maureen is married to Doug Larsen of Belfast , Prince Edward Island . They make their home in Calgary, Alberta and have four children. Kevin is engaged and will be married in August this year. Sharon (Kondics) has two children: Tori and Kyra. Her husband, Dave, is an engineer employed with an oil company. Brendan is employed as a social worker. While living in Alberta Charlie met up with two classmates, Duncan MacDonald and Joe Shreenan . Other SDU friends included Alfred and Bunny (Burge) Rossiter, Father Rupert MacLellan , Alisan Smith and Mark McQuaid. Some of those get-togethers were centered around dances sponsored for Islanders and although those parties have become a thing of the past there is still a UPEI Alumni Association in the area. Charlie says he enjoys doing volunteer work with the Knights of Columbus, and especially enjoys this kind of work at Christmas time. He also serves on a pro-life committee and has been active in fund raising for the needy in Canada and other countries. He remembers his two periods of time at St. Dunstan's as ones where he made many friends, some of whom he has contact with to the present day.
